make sure 后面接从句，表示确保、保证。从句多用一般现在时或现在完成时。
e.g. 请确保他十一点之前睡觉。
2.in quite a number of cases
在大多数情况下
a number of 表示很多，后面一般接可数名词。
quite a number of 表示相当多
in ...case 在...情况下
in this case 在这种情况下
in case of fire 失火时
a number of 大量的，许多 后跟可数名词复数 谓语动词用复数
the number of .....的数量 后跟可数名词复数 谓语动词用单数
